Drug addiction has become one of the serious issues from the past decade. Drug treatment programs helps individual to recover themselves from the addiction to alcohols. Heroin is one such drug and is an opiate, which acts as an anti-depressant. Heroin intervention is of the two types, they are, one performed on a recreational heroin user and the other one performed on a person after developing some form of painful ailment. The one performed on the latter is much more difficult than the one performed on the former. Drug treatment programs provide the user an improvement in health, a feel of self worth. Different types of addicts are dealt using different heroin intervention techniques. There will be basically some levels in the process of drug treatment programs. The first level will be the interaction between the coach and drug addicted individual. The second level would be meeting the family of that particular individual, interacting with the family members and asking their co-operation to help the individual. The third level would be the individual meeting the outside world and some house-hold chores will be assigned to the individual to divert the concentration. Thus these programs help an individual to lead a happy life.
